I was tossing and turning trying to sleep (as I so often am) when I remembered some of the stories I used to write for Nevi, and thinking that I would like to read them again, I got to googling. Even though I thought it was unlikely that I would be able to find anything I gave it a try and happened upon this new forum... When I saw there was some activity I couldn't help but register and say hello, how are you guys? I miss everything about KOTB so much, most of all my friends

NEVI! *soviet war bear hug* How's it going?! We all seem to be doing pretty well around here, what few of us there are now. Some folks're still on WoW but playing different characters (like Jim Kriger), and Trinny is indefinitely unable to log ingame at the moment, but she's still around on here and AIM. I still get on WoW to mess around and RP, if you ever find yourself wanting to get back in on it, but... yeah. KOTB is in stasis now.

So how've you been? I was thinking about you earlier last week, actually. How'd your service trip go?

It went great! I'm actually doing something similar but more work related right now in Mexico. I would love to spend some of the downtime I get here getting ingame and RPing sometime (not to mention exploring all the new content which I haven't seen yet), but I doubt it would really be possible with the horribly bad internet connection I have. I will give it a try though because it would be so fun! If it doesn't work I'll be home in December and can maybe try then. Until then maybe some RP here on the forum would be possible? I miss writing, I don't do it as often as I should anymore. I'm sad to hear the guild is in stasis, but if you and Trinny and others are still hanging around here keeping it alive, I like to think that the stars will align for KOTB again and we'll see it ingame once more someday, that would be really fun to be a part of.

Well, since I came back here two days ago and realized you guys were here too, I've been scribbling in my notebook every day at work a story explaining Nevi's absence as well as some of her oh so mysterious past...

I'm pretty happy with it so far, but I've been away from RPing for so long that I'm not really sure if it's 'kosher' if that makes sense. But you can let me know I'm sure when I finish it. I've tried to get ingame and apart from the odd d'c in Dalaran I seemed ok, so maybe some real RP will be possible as well

Nevi! It's so great to see you on here again! I'd always wondered how things have been going with you. I'm glad to hear that it's going well, of course. While I won't be able to be ingame, I do try to keep up with the forums as often as I can. I know you haven't been around, but since we last got to chat, I've gotten separated from my ex and moved to FL. Ended up, to my surprise, meeting the Love of My Life here, so there's absolutely no complaints about going. Things are well with me, however there's no extra money to spare and I'm afraid that I may as well be considered on permanent hiatus from the game. I genuinely miss everyone and I wish I could play, if only for the RP, but that just doesn't seem to be in the stars anymore.

I'll make it a point to check in on here and look for more threads, and hopefully figure out a way to get myself into some good forum RPs!

Permanent hiatus?? But that's so... permanent. But I know where you're at Trinny, after a few months playing the game I always get the nagging feeling of "why the hell am I paying $15 a month for this?" But I never get tired of the rp related stuff.

But hey, congrats on meeting the love of your life... I'm not jealous at all, I swear >.>
